ALONE THE ROAD OF LIFE YOU MEET SOME PEOPLE YOU WANT TO FORGET AND SOME LIKE LINDA YOU NEVER WANT TO FORGET.WHEN OUR TIME COMES WE HOPE GOD IS WILLING TO SHARE...

Kay (Dyer) Krenz

Christine and Sarah,

Having been freinds with Linda for 23 years, the happy memories are too numerousto mention.  I met Linda through PWP as did  alot of her freinds.  My first thought when I heard of her passing was of all the great times we had camping and the endless jokes she would tell around the campfire at night.  I also recall the first time she came camping with her new pop-up camper and we all pitched in to help her set it up as she hadn't gotten the hang of it yet.

I think of all the rounds of golf we played together at Saratoga State Park, and we certainly dodn't take our golf seriously, as she always had us laughing.  My best round of golf ever (an 82!) was played at Kings Ridge when Warren and I came to visit.  I rode with Linda, so all I can think is that she kept me laughing so much, and I was so relaxed I played out of my mind.  She also was the one keeping score, so maybe she simply  couldn't add.

I will always be greatful to her for opening her home and her heart to the PWP Banana Splits group which my son Scott attended.  It helped him alot in dealing with his fathers and my divorce.  He was sad to hear of her passing and sends his condolences.

Most of all I will remember her wonderful smile, laugh and sense of humor.  As I sit writing this I can hear her in my mind.

Both of you girls havemy deepest sympathy for your loss but I know you willl go on with your lives and be happy, as she would want you to be.

Thanks for the memories Linda.

Your Loving Friend

May you rest in peace, dear Linda! Death has severed the tie that united us in this life, to be renewed everlastingly in a happier world, whither I shall one day follow you.
Now, faithful to your memory, I implore God to grant repose unto your soul; and to vouch-safe to me the grace of a reunion when His holy will shall call me hence.
My God! permit that the soul of Linda for whom I mourn, freed from earth's painful struggles, dangers and difficulties, and  purified through Thy mercy, may share the joys of the blessed in eternity.  Amen.
This is the prayer and others that I said today for Linda. A candle will burn in our home to help guide her . We will miss her for a long time and always remember her good attitude and lively spirit. I will e-mail you some pictures that I took of her at her last visit. We are so glad we had that time together.

Oh, goodness, there are so many...we became neighbors in Clifton Park in 1985. Our very first day of moving in, Linda bounded in the back door to welcome us. She wanted to know all about us and mentioned that she had a daughter who babysat (Christine). She invited me to join her bowling league--we were on that together for 2 years, and faithfully, every Tuesday, she would pick up Jillian and me and off we'd go! Jill was a beginning talker, who couldn't string many syllables together; she couldn't say "Mrs. Schoemburg". and settled on calling Linda, "Schoemburg"! Linda was never offended, and took it good naturedly, as she did everything. For many years, we spent a day at the Saratoga track with the Special Olympics fund-raisers (if I knew how to send pix you'd have one). Then, 2 years ago, I spent 4 days with her following her heart surgery. We went to doctors appts., but mostly, ate out, went to Mt Dora, the vineyard, the lakes and just talked. You girls will NEVER know the late nights we spent over coffee and wine commiserating over raising strong. spunky children who gave us a run for our money! (literally and figuratively). But we always loved you! And I loved her. I'll miss her forever, but she is at rest and peace, and it is well deserved.

You don't know me but I had the pleasure of being a friend of Linda's through Jim Graiff. When she came up to Albany we spent some time together traveling. She was a wonderful woman and we all had such a good time . Jim and Jerry talked so much about her I felt I knew her a lot longer than I did. I know she is in God's hand and will suffer no more. She will be in my prayers. God bless both of you.
